We were back at the QUT campus today to attend a few more classes with Australian Students and to spend some time looking through the Australian Curriculum on the web. The first class we were able to attend was a class about using technology in the classroom. Although I had already heard about and used many of the types of technology they discussed in this class, I was able to learn some new ways to use them with students. We also attended a Science class in which students were presenting their projects. They had to prepare a lesson for year 4 students (their college peers). It was fun to be able to take part in their lessons. The students that were presenting were mostly year 2 and year 1 college students. It was cool to be able to provide them with feedback about how their lesson went and what they could improve on. After our time at QUT, we headed back to our home stay families. I was able to spend the evening working on a few things and catching up on some of my assignments for my duration of my stay.
